upcoming course deletions WI16

Courses from WI16 will be deleted on Mon, June 5, 8:00am
If you want to save content from your courses, please make sure you export them to your own computer before then.
Below are written instructions for exporting and below is a YouTube video.
Log in to Blackboard. From the My Courses tab and choose the course you want to Export.
Go to the Control Panel, under Packages and Utilities and clickExport/Archive Course.A new screen will open and then select Export Package ( NOT Archive) Click the box in front of the items you want to export and at the bottom click Submit
You will see a message at the top of the page that the action has been queued and that you will receive an email message confirming a zip file is being created.
Once the email is received, go to the Control Panel, under Packages and Utilities click Export/Archive Course.
In Chrome- Click the export file and it will start a download. In Internet Explorer, double click on the arrow to the right of the file select OPEN and then select SAVE AS, and identify where you want the file saved on your computer. (On a Mac the file will usually start to download automatically after you select open).
***Do not open the zip file- it will change the content and you will have problems importing it into acourse.
Once the download is completed, click on the drop down arrow next to the file and select show in folder. You can rename the file if you want, and then drag the file to the location on your computer where you want to store it.
